台中伍角船板

這間位於台中七期的藝術餐廳，就在未來的台中歌劇院附近，素有「夢幻泥巴屋」的雅號，建築風格類似西班牙天才建築師高弟，整座餐廳簡直就是一座藝術品，有機會到台中可別忘了繞過來參觀這座「一個女人蓋的房子」- 伍角船板。天生建築家謝麗香自述「有一天我在海灘撿木頭，沙灘上擱淺著一塊船板，船板上停留著一枚伍角舊幣。如果--我能在一個地方，建一個有風格的屋子，那名字就是『伍角船板』」。她善於利用漂流木、枕木、石頭 ... 等天然素材，加上天馬行空的靈感與創意，打造這座屬於謝麗香式的建築王國。

東豐鐵馬道綠色之旅

最近的單車旅遊風氣隨著前幾年流行的單車環島而變成一種全民運動，所以這次的部門旅遊，特地來到國內知名的「東豐綠色走廊」及「后豐鐵馬道」，「東豐鐵路綠色走廊」是全國第一條由廢棄鐵道改建為自行車道的腳踏車專用道，也是全國第二條腳踏車專用道，全長約十二公里，沿途行經石岡大壩及多處綠色隧道。至於「后豐鐵馬道」以后里馬場為起點，貫穿原舊山線9 號隧道，再經花樑鋼橋橫跨大甲溪，全長共四點五公里，最後與東豐自行車綠廊相接，據說花樑鋼橋有百年歷史，曾是日本政府運送物資的聯絡通道，這條「后豐鐵馬道」長度不長，地勢起伏較少，難度低，但沿途景觀變化大，是單車入門者的極佳路線喔。
